I am passionate about fitness and helping people change their lives through movement and exercise. I believe that exercise and being active can make a big difference to both physical and mental health, having changed my own life dramatically through exercise and healthy eating.
I care deeply about my clients, helping them set achievable goals that will inspire and motivate them. I believe that exercise and health should be fun and enjoyable, rather than a form of punishment and I hope to inspire those around me to see how even small changes in their day-to-day life can make a difference.
By including more movement and exercise in our lives, we can have more balance and feel good about ourselves. This then helps us to achieve more in other areas of our lives. Having spent most of my adult life morbidly obese, I lost approximately 12 stone in weight and completely transformed my life as a result. I feel more confident and capable as a result of the changes I have made in my life, and I hope to be able to help others in the same way.

When you choose me to be your Personal Trainer, I want to work with you to make the experience the best possible for you. I understand that for you the end goal is the most important stage, therefore I go through the following process in order to understand your motivations and where you are now … so that I can help you get to where you want to be.

To start, I conduct a comprehensive consultation in order to understand your history, goals, and lifestyle. This holistic approach, encompassing habits and nutrition, ensures a tailor-made fitness journey just for you.

In order to determine progress and ensure there are no health risks, some measurements will be carried out confidentialy with the clients consent. These include weight, height, blood pressure and circumference measurements.

I work with clients who can be new to exercise or have been working out for some time. Therefore in order to determine a baseline and create a training plan for each client, fitness assessments will be conducted to determine cardio level, mobility and determine max weight lifting range.

Once these initial assessments are completed I will create a program tailored around the information provided and the results of the tests. I will work with you to ensure that your technique is ideal to minimise the risk of injury. Exercise should be enjoyable and not a punishment therefore I encourage feedback so that programs can be adapted, helping you to remain motivated.

Nutrition is very important regardless of your goals and I am able to offer advice and assistance to help your diet towards your goals. Exercise can help us feel better and can make a big difference, but without the right nutrition to back it up, we can find ourselves struggling to have the energy and motivation required. I can help you whether you want to make small adjustments or completely overhaul your current eating patterns.

Great sense of humour that I personally enjoy and really helps motivates me. What motivates me the best is her promising to show me photos of her dog, it absolutely works…I’ll run 5k just to see a video of her dog falling on his face trying to catch a ball.
